Leather has very little stretch across the chest and shoulders, so getting the size right at the point of order matters more than it does with other outerwear. Measure yourself before you buy.

These are body measurements, not garment measurements. Each product page lists the jacket’s own flat measurements separately.

How to measure

  • Chest — around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level all the way round. Snug, not tight. Wear only a t-shirt.
  • Shoulders — across your back, from the bony point of one shoulder to the other.
  • Sleeve — from the shoulder point, down a slightly bent arm, to the wrist bone.
  • Length — from the base of the neck straight down the back to where you want the hem.

Sizing by style

BikerCut close. Size up if between sizes or layering.

Café RacerSlim through the body. True to size.
ShearlingLining takes internal volume. Always size up.

Between two sizes?

Use your shoulder measurement as the tiebreaker. Chest and sleeve can be adjusted by a tailor; shoulders effectively can’t.

Also consider what you’ll wear underneath. If the answer is only ever a t-shirt, take the smaller size — leather relaxes with wear. If you’ll layer a jumper, take the larger.

How it should fit

Slightly snug when new. The shoulder seam should sit at the edge of your shoulder, the sleeve should end at your wrist bone, and you should be able to zip it fully and cross your arms. Horizontal creases across the chest when zipped mean it’s too small. A visible gap under the arms means it’s too big.
